Join us as we mark South Asian Heritage Month 2024
South Asian Heritage Month seeks to commemorate, mark and celebrate South Asian cultures, histories, and communities. It first took place in 2020, and runs from 18th July to 17th August each year.
Refugee Week is the world’s largest arts and culture festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary.

Meet our Action Together Volunteering team from Oldham who, earlier this year, took Good to Grow Week as an opportunity to volunteer their time to help support the Alexandra Park Hub.
Last year Action Together were approached by Hyde-based Findel Education with a request to help them find an opportunity for their staff to get involved in volunteering.
Our Tameside Volunteering Team began working with Samson and began the process of matching him with a volunteering opportunity that would suit him personally, whilst also make use of his incredible skill set.
In November 2023, as part of of our Employer Supported Volunteering offer in Rochdale, we successfully placed employees from National Gas with The Bond Board.
As part of this years’ Volunteers’ Week celebrations, we launched our ever popular Action Together Volunteer Celebration Fund for 2024.
