Tameside Asylum Seeker and Refugee Network
The Tameside Asylum Seeker and Refugee Network brings together organisations and services who support asylum seekers and refugees.
The aim of the network will continue to, share information and intelligence between organisations and other services and identify issues and barriers that may affect refugees and asylum seekers in Tameside, and work together and with others to find solutions to these.
This will include:
- Supporting local projects that improve the quality of life of refugees and asylum seekers in Tameside
- Sharing information of projects, services provided and potential for development.
- Supporting representatives from refugee and asylum seeking backgrounds to be more involved and have a voice in Tameside and Greater Manchester
- Creating space which can be used to showcase or present any new projects being undertaken to focus on the issues related to RAS communities within Tameside
