Community Activities
Every Thursday afternoon we do fun bingo and play three games for chocolates and we have tea/coffee and biscuits for £1. This offers people a chance to meet others and play some fun games.
The last Friday of every month we hold a Craft Club. Luna Crafts come into the communal lounge and we make something with their instruction.
We have a Communion Service on the first Thursday of each month which is delivered by the local Methodist Church with refreshments afterwards.
We aim to hold two public events per year - Spring and Autumn to which we invite speakers and provide food. These to date, have taken place in the Chadderton Suite in the Civic Hall. Getting a fishing club back up and running in memory of my grandad, we have had to lime the whole pond to kill the lilypads off so its fishable again. This group is for anyone who enjoys finishing.
The Woodlands Cafe at Dunwood Park is officially opening on the 24th October, however, we will be having a grand opening day and Halloween Party on the 29th October from 10am. This will include food, pumpkin carving, face tattoos, fancy dress etc.

We provide diabetes awareness education, advice and practical support for sufferers of diabetes, their families, friends and carers, GP surgeries, faith and social groups, lunch clubs, companies and Greater Manchester Police.

Barking Tales is a safe-space storytelling and comedy night running the 1st Wednesday of every month.
