About the host organisation
Hosted by: The Upstanding Citizens BureauOrganisation Profile:The Upstanding Citizens Bureau is a new creative mental health and wellbeing community group and venue located in Oldham, off Shaw Rd.
The UCB provides a safe space for people to meet-up, spend time with likeminded folk, and work on projects together.
The space can be used for counselling, running workshops and focus groups, fleeing turbulence, attending peer-support meet-ups, acessable events such as Barking Tales comedy night and other forms of entertainment peacefully and safely.
The Upstanding Citizens Bureau uses people’s experiences as expertise - It is owned and ran by the communities that it benefits and it is a disabled person lead non-profit. We work alongside organisations that have a positive impact in peoples futures; building a network for peer a support and utilisation.
