Making Memories is a socila isolation group, mostly aimed at older people. This initially started as a demnetia support group but we found that amore diverse group were in need of support and so expanded our group to anyone who felt lonely. Provision of food 10-12 items tea, coffee etc and 2 meals which over 2 days and sanitary and hygiene products for anybody with a need in Limeside and Holinwood area mainly.
Worship ofthe Lord including reading His Word, prayer, confession and teaching.
Teaching sessions based on the Christian faith for school aged children. Usually includes a story, singing and activities.
Provision of a hot meal for all who need it, (includes a short talk each week) and a takeaway bag of food.
Wefare advice is usually available from the Ancora Project.
A support group for parents with young children. Activities arrange for children including singing and crafts. Opportunity for parents to meet and talk together.
Toddler group for young children and their parents, involves play, craft, singing + Christian story time.
Coffee morning and food store for those in need within the local community
A welcoming coffee morning open to the local community to come along and have a cup of coffee and chat to other people. There is also opportunity for prayers.
