Aims/priorities: Funding is intended to turn ideas into action and build stronger community connections to research and innovation.
Who can apply? The following types of constituted groups and organisations may apply:
- Charitable trusts.
- Registered charities.
- Community Interest Companies (CICs).
- Social enterprises.
- Cooperative and Community Benefit societies.
- Local authorities.
- Voluntary or community groups.
- Non-profit companies limited by guarantee.
Partnership applications are also accepted.
Grant amount: The Fund is providing a total pot of £950,000 to support up to 34 grants.
- In Phase 1, development grants of up to £10,000 will be awarded
- In Phase 2, a small number of larger grants from £50,000 up to £100,000 will be awarded
Application process: The deadline for Phase 1 applications is 7 November 2022, with notifications expected by 27 January 2023.
Key dates for Phase 2 funding will be announced early 2023.
