Rochdale Woodlands Litter-Picking Day

Help us preserve the natural beauty of our parks by keeping them clean and enjoyable for everyone. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a meaningful difference. We will be walking into the woodlands litter-picking the area. We meet at 10 am at the entrance of Roch Wood on Croxton Ave, OL16 2XX, Rochdale. Arrival time is between 10.00 - 10.30 and the event will run from 10.30 to 15.00. You are welcome to join us for the entire session or just part of it. Closure time will depend on the progression of the task and the number of participants. There are no on-site facilities and the closest accessible toilet is about a 20-minute walk from the working area, thus please plan accordingly. To ensure a comfortable and productive day, please remember to bring the following items: • Waterproof clothes that you do not mind getting dirty, as they may be wet and muddy. • Walking boots/trainers or wellies. • While we will provide refreshments and hot drinks, kindly bring any additional lunch/snacks and drinks you might prefer. • If you have your own work gloves that you find comfortable to wear, please bring them along. However, rest assured that we will provide the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for the task. Thank you in advance for your willingness to volunteer and support our local parks. Together, we can create a cleaner and greener environment for everyone to enjoy.
