Key information
- Volunteer: Weekly
- Availability: Tuesday Evening, Thursday AM, Thursday PM
- Tasks: • Support In My Shoes Theatre Group members during rehearsal activities and any performance.
• Escort members to transport pick up points when needed.
• Support the lead artist in facilitating activities.
• Set up the room prior to members arriving.
• Ensure the room is set up for lunch and support members in accessing their lunch.
• Communicate with Lead artist regarding plan for the session/rehearsal.
• Work with IMSTG staff to create a productive atmosphere.
• Be passionate and have a positive attitude
• Participate in any debriefs or post session discussions as required during allotted session times.
• Undergo any training deemed necessary by IMSTG.
• Partake in post session evaluation and report any concerns or safeguarding to the lead artist. - Training: You will be required to complete:
• Initial induction training
• Safeguarding vulnerable adults
• Shadowing other staff
• Emergency procedures and contacts - Requirements: Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
