We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our team. This role will start in the stock room, where you will become familiar with our inventory and operations. As you gain confidence and experience, you will transition to working on the shop floor, assisting customers, and contributing to the smooth running of the shop.

  • Availability: Monday AM, Monday PM, Tuesday AM, Tuesday PM, Wednesday AM, Wednesday PM, Thursday AM, Thursday PM, Friday AM, Friday PM
  • Tasks: Stock Room Duties:
    Sorting and organising donated items.
    Preparing items for display (cleaning, pricing, tagging).
    Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation.
    Ironing Stock

    Shop Floor Duties:
    Greeting and assisting customers.
    Maintaining shop displays and ensuring the shop is tidy.
    Providing excellent customer service and information about our charity.
    Finally:
    Operating the cash register and handling transactions.
  • Training: Initial:
    Introduction to the charity and its mission.
    Tour of the shop and stock room.
    Overview of health and safety procedures.

    Stock Room Training:
    Sorting and categorizing donations.
    Pricing and tagging items.
  • Requirements: Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
  • Interests: Customer Services, Retail
