People choose to volunteer at Springhill for so many different reasons. However, they all have one thing in common - they understand the importance of hospice care across the borough.
The support Springhill’s volunteers provide is vital, they allow us to keep our doors open 365 days a year through their selfless support in everything we do.

- Tasks: We have shops across the borough, selling donated and new goods. We have customer service roles on the shop floor and non-customer facing roles including sorting donations and product research. Our eBay operation includes researching and photographing items, preparing online listings and packaging items for postage. We also have other opportunities in retail including PAT testing or moving stock in our Warehouse. We are looking especially for Heywood and Newhey shops
- Training: Training will be provided and aimed specifically at each volunteer
- Skill And Qualifications Required: Customer service would be an advantage as this role is dealing with the public , also please be looking for a long term committment - ideally at least 6 months
