Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for multiple volunteers to support the running of the kitchen at our activity centre for adults with learning disabilities and autism. The role can be share between individuals according to their availability. Hours will typically be 11am-2pm, Mon-Fri.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

The volunteer would be required to support with lunch preparations, cleaning, following food safety and hygiene procedures, stock take and date rotation, record keeping.

Training:

Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene.

Requirements: Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
Areas of Interest: Community, Community centre, Disability, Foodbanks, Health and safety, Health and wellbeing, Hunger, Social care, Social Welfare
Opportunity suitable for: 18 and over
