Volunteer Receptionist

We are looking for one or more friendly, confident individuals to carry out receptionist duties at our activity centre for adult with learning disabilities and autism. The role could be split between several individuals according to individual's availability.
Start date: 1st June 2024

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

The individual would be required to greet all visitors to the building, ensuring everybody signs in and is directed to appropriate place. They will need to develop a good understanding of the services on offer so that they can answer queries.
They will also be responsible to keeping the reception area clean, tidy and free of hazards.
This role would also include some management of our community fridge. For example, supporting people to access the fridge, recording waste, emptying and cleaning the fridge at the end of each day.

Requirements: Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
Skill and Qualifications Required:

none needed - training will be provided.
