This is a flexible and rewarding role which will enable you to connect with, and make a real and lasting difference to, the lives of older people who are experiencing social isolation or loneliness.
This is an admin role that supports the activity volunteers to plan their monthly groups. In this role the volunteer will communicate with volunteer drivers and older people to ensure people know how they will be getting to the venue and what to expect.
The monthly activity group will be taken by the activity lead, who you will be in contact with to support with admin.

- Tasks: Welcome new volunteers to the group.
Welcome older people to the group and contact them before their first activity group so that they feel welcome.
Arrange the annual schedule so group volunteers know when it’s their turn to lead the activity, and volunteers drivers know which older people they’re driving to and from the group.
Matching older people to volunteer drivers, so the same drivers collect and drop off the same older people each month.
Responding to any issues from the volunteers and older people in the activity group.
Following the guidance in the online volunteer training so that the activity groups are safe, enjoyable, appropriate and in line with our charitable aims.
Keeping in regular contact with Re-engage and reporting any concerns to the team.
Promoting the activity group in your local area.
Keeping in contact with the group volunteers and older people to share updates from Re-engage. - Training: 30-minute induction call with a member of the Re-engage team
Submit a DBS check (England and Wales) or a PVG check (Scotland)
