This role is ideal for mental health and psychology and psychiatry students or anyone with an interest in mental health.

- Tasks: As a hospital volunteer, you might:
hold drop-ins
attend events and ward meetings at local facilities
share information
refer people to an advocate, by completing a form online or calling our helpline
You’ll need to be able work independently and safely in various situations.

Organisational skills - Training: We offer a range of e-learning training including Safeguarding, Health and Safety and Lone Working.
In addition we offer instructor led courses on Microsoft Teams specific to the role. - Requirements: Driving license, Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location

You’ll develop skills in communication and confidentiality, add experience and knowledge to your CV, and know you’re making a genuine difference to people’s lives.
As a volunteer you’ll receive full training, support from the volunteer team and your local advocates, and out of pocket expenses.
