help people have their say when it matters most
offer general advocacy support, including one-to-one support
help people to make complaints and use local services - Training: Volunteers will be given access to a range of e-learning courses such as safeguarding, health and safety and lone working. There are also instructor led training courses via Teams providing an overview of the role.

You’ll develop skills in communication and confidentiality, add experience and knowledge to your CV, and know you’re making a genuine difference to people’s lives.
As a volunteer you’ll receive full training, support from the volunteer team and your local advocates, and out of pocket expenses.
You’ll need to be able volunteer independently and safely in various situations.
