TMBC ADULT SERVICES WINTER PRESSURES FUND 2024

 

Aims/priorities: Applications are invited to potential funding for voluntary organisations to support people in Tameside who need support to eat well, stay warm and healthy and avoid admission to hospital and other crises this winter. This funding is subject to approval and applications are invited prior to approval to allow time to process.

Who can apply? Applicants can include voluntary organisations, community groups, community interest companies, social enterprises, development trusts and charities. Projects should be designed to deliver local resilience to reduce the risk of crisis and where possible provide food related support and help people to keep warm.

Groups of people we are looking to help are people who need support, such as older people,  people living in poverty, people who are homeless, carers, people with disabilities and anybody who would otherwise be at risk of significant difficulty with daily living during the winter months. 

Grant amount: There are two main grants;

  • Small grants of up to £1,500
  • Larger grants of up to £5,000
  • Exceptional grant: There may be a possibility for over £5,000 for innovative projects – If groups are considering applying for over £5,000 please see the contact details below to get in touch with

Application Process: Applications will be open from 1st November to 16th November and groups will find out if they are successful on 23rd December.
