Services

Working in partnership with our local Primary School we provide a 5 course weekly meal in the schools community room for over 55's. There is an opportunity to socialise and engage in a variety of activities e.g. card making, armchair exercise, talks. Any person not well enough to attend has a meal delivered to their home.

The main participants are over 55. We provide various activities to engage in such as knitting, painting, craft, discussion, talks, quiz. There is a light lunch served with tea or coffee. The activities are open to anyone who wants to participate or just to come along for a natter. We also work in partnership with 'Making Space' who run a cookery class for those with dementia and their carers. This takes place at the same time as the Activity Group.

Chadderton Together have opened a not-for-profit community cafe called Lydia's Tearoom. The cafe is situated in a completely renovated pavilion at Foxdenton Park. It is open five days each week Monday to Friday. However, as more vonteers come forward it will open each weekend as well.
