Contract Hours of work: 21 hours per week (0.6 F.T.E.), 18-month fixed term contract
Salary: £18,000 for 0.6 F.T.E., (Equates to £30,000 for 1.0 F.T.E.)
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator to lead an 18-month pioneering pilot project (VI 1:1) designed to provide personalised one-to-one support for individuals with sight loss through a befriending scheme.
‘VI 1:1’ has been developed drawing on outcomes of a recent needs assessment to address the specific needs of the local visually impaired community. The project builds on the success of previous befriending schemes at Walthew House and is deeply rooted in the local community.
Walthew House is a small, specialist, independent charity supporting people with sight and/or hearing loss in Stockport and the surrounding areas. We support 400+ local people each week through our range of services.
