Listening to people is the foundation of community organising because it builds trust and relationships, uncovers issues and is an essential starting point for bringing people together to share stories, ideas and action. On this course, you will gain an understanding of why listening is important in community organising and you will develop practical listening skills and tactics and plan a listening campaign.

The Greater Manchester Resilience Forum (GMRF) works to make sure our emergency responders and local authorities have the knowledge and support to- plan for, respond to and recover from emergencies. In Oldham, the Council's Emergency Planning team ensure that the local authority can respond effectively to emergencies, working closely with partners like Action Together to get the best possible outcome for our communities.
