Oldham Safeguarding Adults Board are proud to support Made by Mortals with the development of two immersive learning experience workshops and we would like to invite you along to take a walk in the shoes of three fictional characters, Kerri, Elizabeth, and Sadiqa, all of whom have experience of domestic abuse. The resources have been coproduced by women with lived experience of domestic abuse, and the workshops have been inspired, coproduced and co-designed by people with lived experience, health and social care and VCSE professionals. The workshops will give you the time and space to understand what it is like for women living with abuse and support a person-centred approach to care.
The workshops are open to people working in the field of domestic abuse/safeguarding, and also to members of the public. The aims of the workshops are to help raise public awareness of domestic abuse in our communities and to help develop people's working practices.
