Werneth and Freehold Community Development Project are in partnership with the good Things Foundation and REEL ICI and are running a programme aimed to get people digitally included.
To qualify an individual must be:
- Have no or low digital skills
- Be Aged from 18 years and under 69 years old
- Be currently unemployed, low paid or insecure employment (part time or zero hours contract).
- They cannot be enrolled in other learning courses with any provider (apart from ESOL)
- They cannot have taken part in the not already taken part in this programme which is Learn My Way
- They need to be a resident in Oldham
Participants will learn to make the most of the internet. Teaching you how to use a device, stay safe and secure online. You can choose modules to save money, stay healthy, connect with people, or find training and other courses and it is all online.
You will be supported by their friendly team.
They have a limited number of devices, Wi-Fi boxes and data (up to 6 months) for eligible participants to keep for free.
They are doing an enrolment day on Wednesday 16 March, 2:30pm, at WFCDP 14 Tamworth Street Werneth Oldham OL9 7QU. People can sign up at other convenient times until the course is full.
