Community Development Qualification

You're invited to the open day at the University Campus Oldham, OL1 1BB, on Tuesday 5 June between 10am - 2pm where you can meet staff who can tell you all about its community development qualification.

There are opportunities for you to study full or part time and use your experience to engage in a process where it enables individuals and communities to work collectively for social change.

You may be interested in the community development qualification if you are:

  • working or volunteering in a community organisation
  • responsible for or managing a community organisation
  • a paid or voluntary community development practitioner
  • building relationships with a variety of people and
  • organisations within communities
  • identifying individual and community concerns
  • working with people to address those concerns
  • looking for a qualification to help you to develop new skills
  • knowledge and assist you in progressing your career
