    African Physical Training Organisation (APTO) is registered charity number: 1099577 England and Wales is a non-profit organisation founded in the UK on 28th August 2002 to improve the quality of life of African French speaking refugees especially children and young people, and refugees/asylum seekers by enabling and empowering them participate in the socio-economic development of the wider community in which they live. Our activities benefit young people as well as adults and the elderly. The activities are intended to relieve ill health and to increase the social, economic and educational status of the beneficiaries, all of whom are from a disadvantaged background. African Physical Training Organization (APTO) the lead organization is governed by a constitution. Its management committee is composed by 15 members from the African community who attend capacity building training, adopt policies and procedures and help the running of the organization. Services are provided by two (2) part time and sixty teen (16) volunteers who attend regular training in the fields they cover.
