    About the host organisation

    Hosted by: Mossley Dementia Cafe
    Organisation Profile:

This is a cafe to promote social inclusion and the well being of dementia sufferers, their carers, friends and family. There is currently no provision of any sort for this hidden group of vulnerable people within the Mossley area. The cafe will provide a safe space with a homely atmosphere where people can meet to exchange information and advice and gain support from others living with the disease and it's consequences.

The cafe is for anyone who has experience of the disease and it's isolating affects. This also includes those affected by young onset dementia and young carers.

We meet at the Mossley Community Centre, Roughtown Rd. on the third Thursday of every month from 10.30 - 12.30. The group will be very informal with a drop in format.
