About the host organisation
Hosted by: Veterans in CommunitiesOrganisation Profile:Veterans in Communities (VIC) does what it says on the tin. Our aim is to enable ex-services and emergency services personnel and their families to be a part of their local community. To return, belong and prosper within and as a part of it.
We work mainly across East Lancashire, Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale, but we will not turn away those needing our support from other surrounding areas. All of our activities and projects are open to members of the local communities, some of whom may be experiencing the same difficulties as the veterans.
We have a variety of groups and activities - walks, coffee mornings/afternoons, arts and crafts, VIC choir and an allotment project.
