    Friends of Catch Nature offers a bubby system to customers referred to us Tameside Stroke Association. It's one buddy per stroke recoverer, when enjoying a day of fishing. Friends of Catch Nature has run this system for a few years and have had some positive feedback and results from its use.

    Friends of Catch Nature was formed in 2001 and is now one of the most popular angling organisations in Tameside. It has worked with Roland Bardsley home, Morrison’s plc and Tameside Council in the designing and management of old mill ponds within Tameside for angling activity.

    It aims to provide better angling facilities to the local community where they can enjoy their sport in a safe and secure environment. The professional coaching activity for juniors and youth groups from all over Tameside can benefit from the service it provides.

    The building and design feature of all of its developments incorporate suitable access for people with mobility and sight impairment. The access details include car parking, toilets, pathways and fishing platforms.

    Friends Of Catch Nature have four waters, these consist of Claremont Gardens, Hurst Cross Ashton-under-Lyne, this water is stocked with Mirror Carp, Common Carp, Crucian Carp, Chub Barbel, Bream & tench. Celmac AC, Denton, Morrisons, Celmac is stocked with a wide variety of fish, Bream, Tench, Mirror Carp, Common Carp, Crucian carp, Roach, Perch, Barbel & Chub. Cheethams Hill Lodge (Fox AC) Stalybridge is under reconstruction & will be stocked with similar fish like the other waters, which will once again be another one of our great fisheries. Bone Mill Dam (Tootals AC) Hyde, this is a third of an acre fishery set in a woodland oasis in the middle of Godley with a good mix of depths from 2ft margins up to nearly 13ft at it deepest around 14m from the dam wall, it has 20 pegs.
    It’s a gated secure pond known as Bone Mill Dam Hyde. It's off Halton Street in Hyde near the allotments & five minutes from M67. With a good mixed stocking of fish Crucian Carp, Mirror Carp, Common Carp & Koi carp, Tench, Rudd, Roach, Bream, Perch, Gudgeon, Barbel.
