Tameside Voluntary Sector Summit - April 2025

Following the success of our Voluntary Sector Summit that was held on the 8th of October 2024, we are delighted to announce our next summit to bring the voluntary sector in Tameside together this April.

The voluntary sector in Tameside is facing a number of unprecedented challenges. Commissioned work is decreasing, funding has been reduced, and the demand for support in our communities has increased. We see the incredible work our member organisations do every day to support our communities. But without support for the sector, this work is simply not sustainable. We want to bring together the Tameside voluntary sector to connect, share our achievements and challenges, and look at how we can combine our voices to call for action.

At the conference we will:

• Reconnect as a sector to share what we are doing well and what our current challenges are
• Build a better understanding between us of some of the key thematic areas we care about
• Look at opportunities for further joint work
