Theory of Change Workshop
A Theory of Change is a way of helping you describe your organisation or service and map what you do to what you aim to achieve in the long term - usually in a diagram and words. It's very helpful for your planning, evaluation and communications. And many funders really like them too.
This workshop will be delivered by Sarah Forster an experienced Development Consultant, specilising in the development of community led voluntary organisations.
You will learn about the purpose and benefits of a Theory of Change, and an overview of the process you would use to create one for your organisation.
By the end of the workshop, participants will:
- Be able to describe the purpose of a theory of change and when to use it
- Understand outcomes terminology and timescales
- Have the knowledge to support a theory of change process which engages with a range of stakeholders
- Understand the components of a theory of change diagram and description.
