VCFSE groups and organisations that are locally rooted or actively working in Oldham can apply for up to £3,000 to the One Oldham Fund - Creating Pathways to Volunteering for Asylum Seekers and Refugees Grants Programme to support asylum seekers and refugees to engage in volunteering..
The vision for the programme is that asylum seekers and refugees are supported to participate in volunteering and are able to experience the benefits that volunteering has including:
- improved health and wellbeing
- increased confidence and self esteem
- gaining new skills and experiences
- increased sense of community and belonging.
