Foundation Group Statement of intent:
We aim amplify the voices of the Rochdale community to influence strategic change, through collaboration with decision and policy makers that will enable positive outcomes in the reduction of violence against women and girls.
What does systems change mean to us?
Systems change is confronting root causes of issues (rather than symptoms) by transforming structures, customs, mindsets, power dynamics and policies, by strengthening collective power through the active collaboration of diverse people and organisations.
Join us in making a positive change for the women of Rochdale, to enable them to move freely, feel safe and flourish.
Our quarterly meetings welcome voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations, partners and activists working to support people and communities around women’s priorities across Rochdale.
