Fullcircle NW CIC | £10,000.00 | Deliver a weekly youth club Drop-In session aimed at children and young people based at Sholver and Moorside Community HUB. Sessions will be structured to incorporate a range of activities including arts and crafts, games, multi-sports and more. |
Girls with Pride and Dignity | £10,000.00 | The aim of the project is to bring East African women together and encourage them to contribute to the society and in the community they live in. They will be organising small get together parties to help traumatised women open up and talk about their experiences. |
Greater Manchester South Asian Women Support | £10,000.00 | The aim of the project is to provide a holistic approach in supporting BAME women in Medlock Vale area of Oldham through training and wellbeing activities, 1:1 support and referrals to official agencies to reduce isolation, build self-esteem and enhance well-being. |
Henshaws Society for Blind People | £9,903.84 | Individual families have been found to have a lack of confidence and understanding around the support of a visually impaired child, especially with the context of additional pandemic challenges. |
Higginshaw Community Project | £9,904.00 | The grant awarded enabled them to bring their community hall back in use. The floor is not safe and secure and would have to close, activities would stop and people’s health would suffer as the as the nearest other community centre is too far away. |
Home-Start HOST (Oldham, Stockport & Tameside) | £9,876.00 | They were awarded the grant to increase the hours of our Family Support Co-ordinator in Oldham who works with families with children aged 0-5. |

Oldham Play Action Group | £10,000.00 | Family play sessions and learning around the following themes - Art of Play, Wellbeing and Healthy Arts, Art Of Science, Arts On Message - continuing the COVID message and aiding containment, Art Write - Collective Story making session with art and creative writing. |
Oldham Table Tennis | £6,552.41 | They applied for funding to help get the club back to where it was before COVID and applied for funding to help them with the equipment costs. They are open to everyone regardless of age, gender, culture, ability and religion. |
Royton & Crompton Over 60s | £5,300.00 | During the lockdown the group were closed for 15 months and this meant their members have been cooped up for so long. They wanted to now move forward into 2022, the grant enabled the group to plan activities, including being able to celebrate Mother's Day. |
Salvation Army | £10,000.00 | They were awarded the One Oldham Fund to use to enable them to increase the hours, since the pandemic their project has increased. |
St Mark's Heyside | £5,244.28 | They requested the grant to help fund the re-opening of the hall, enabling it to fully re-open in line with all current COVID-19 guidelines and to ensure they provide a safe and secure venue that limits the spread of COVID-19 which can be accessible by the people of Heyside. |
Spoons Charity | £9,960.00 | Spoons alleviates stress and reduces social isolation for families who are experiencing, or have experienced, neonatal intensive care. they will provide 80 sessions of trauma therapy to Oldham residents over 12 months. |
The Chatty Café Scheme | £5,845.00 | They will use the grant to purchase a new database system and web-development support to create automated workflows to store, track and manage all data received from volunteers and social prescribers in Oldham. |
The Crossley Centre | £5,676.00 | They want to deliver a project that will upskill a group of ladies in sewing/crocheting/embroidery and knitting. The workshops will be publicised via the centre’s website, Facebook and word of mouth. |
The Oldham Phab Club | £5,000.00 | We are hoping to increase our sessions back to the weekly ones that we held before the pandemic and hopefully this would encourage more members to attend. In order to do this we would need help with our weekly rent for the Crossley centre. |
Veg in the Park | £10,000.00 | The group had limited internet data to use for their EPOS System, this meant the younger/older generation and volunteers were unable to use the WIFI. The grant awarded helped everybody who uses Veg in the Park to connect to the internet. |
Voice Assembly | £10,000.00 | After consulting with communities from Oldham and neighbouring areas, they recognised many positives can be gained from the delivery of their project in particular with the following groups BAME, Isolated and lonely elders, individuals coping with Mental Health. |
