Armed Forces Day Grant

Aims/priorities: The objective of the fund is to support Armed Forces Day events across the UK to show support for our servicemen and women, past and present.

Who can apply? Local councils, voluntary and community organisations, schools, ex-service organisations and individuals in the UK are eligible to apply.

Grant amount: A maximum grant of £10,000 is available per application, provided that MOD funding accounts for no more than 50% of the total cost.

Vinci UK Foundation Grants

Aims/priorities: The Vinci UK Foundation provides one-off grants for innovative projects which address at least one of the four areas of action in the fight against social exclusion:

  • Access to employment.
  • Insertion through housing.
  • Inclusive mobility.
  • Building better communities.

At least one Vinci employee has to be involved in the project as a sponsor.

YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

Save the Children’s Youth Advisory Board are looking for thoughtful, enthusiastic, trailblazing young people to join them.

You can apply if you live in the UK, are aged 12 to 17 and can attend virtual monthly meetings, as well as 3 weekend meetings a year for the next two years.

It's important that what Save the Children do and say represents what young people really care about as our voices deserve to be heard. As a member of the board, you’ll work together and help shape projects across Save the Children’s fundraising, campaigning, media and brand work in the UK.

Screwfix Foundation

Aims/priorities: The funding is intended for both national and local charities across the UK so that they can fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and community facilities specifically for those in need (by reason of financial hardship, sickness, disability or other disadvantage or distress) in the UK. The funding is for capital type projects which relate to the repair, maintenance, improvement or construction of homes, community facilities and other buildings in deprived areas.

Active travel grants for VCSE organisations

Aims/priorities: A lack of safe and secure cycle parking is a significant barrier to people building cycling into their daily lives. The provision of cycle parking alongside infrastructure is therefore key to the success of new schemes. To support organisations within Greater Manchester to deliver new cycle parking facilities which will support schemes across the region, TfGM is once again offering active travel grants for GM businesses, employers and organisations.

The Women & Girls Match Fund

Aims/priorities: The Women & Girls Match Fund is a match funding campaign for charities that are working to improve the lives of vulnerable, disadvantaged or underrepresented women and girls in England and Scotland. The Women & Girls Match Fund campaign is led by The Big Give – the UK’s leading platform for match funding – and supported by Rosa Fund, who are women and girls grantmaking specialists. I.G. Advisors, experts in social and environmental change, will also be supporting organisations that take part.

Dementia Carers Bounce Back Fund

Aims/priorities: Dementia United want to help grass roots dementia carers organisations to help carers get back on their feet after this difficult time with the Dementia Carers Groups Bounce Back Fund. 

Who can apply? Applications are open to groups working with carers of people affected by mild cognitive impairment and dementia including charities/Community Interest Companies / Community Interest Organisations.  Joint applications from groups with a host organisation that can hold funds for them are also welcome.

Artemis Charitable Foundation

Aims/priorities: This fund aims to support UK-registered charities in the UK and internationally in the areas of health, poverty, education, and the environment.

Who can apply? UK-registered charities operating both in the UK and internationally can apply. Priority will be given to small-and-medium-sized charities with an income of less than £2 million per annum. 

Grant amount: Grants tend to be in the range of £1,000 to £10,000.
