Volunteer Role – Driver

To use your abilities as a driver to carry out outreach work and work with various departments to support service users.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

Working with the Careers Team within the Education and Guidance Directorate.
Accompanying Positive Steps staff members with doorstep visits to the homes of young people in Rochdale, Tameside or Oldham (volunteer can state their preference).
Can include twilight visits up to around 6pm.
Time commitment would usually be in 2-3 hour blocks. Visits will always take place in pairs.

Training:

Any training needed will be provided.

Requirements: Own vehicle required, Driving license
