Event Volunteer in Community Fundraising

We’ re looking for enthusiastic, approachable, and fun-loving people to be an Event Volunteer at NSPCC Fundraising Events in the north west. Around 90% of our income comes from our supporters, and we couldn’t continue doing what we do without them. That means, our event volunteers will play an important part in raising vital funds which help to protect children and prevent abuse.

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

You’ll volunteer, on an ‘as and when’ basis, kindly volunteering your time at fundraising events, to help raise vital funds for the NSPCC. You could be selling raffle tickets at a Black-Tie Ball or Ladies Lunch, be a cheerer at one of our organised challenge events, marshalling or bucket collecting for the vital work the NSPCC does, all the time engaging with the public, promoting a positive image for the NSPCC. We’d particularly like to hear from you if your workplace offers a matched funding scheme alongside your attendance at a fundraising event.
As an Event Volunteer, you’ll work closely with your local Community Fundraising Manager who can provide you with a
choice of events to attend.

Training:

All interested volunteers registering for the role will be invited to attend an online information session, where they’ll get a chance to find out more about the role from the Community Fundraising team .

At the event, we’ll support you with guidance, advice, and tools to help you fundraise and spread the word of the NSPCC.

Requirements: Willing to travel by public transport or find own way to volunteering location
