What is the Role of a Steward?
As a steward, you'll be a vital part of ensuring a smooth, safe, and joyous experience for everyone celebrating Oldham Pride's 20th anniversary. Your responsibilities will include:
Crowd Control: Assisting with crowd management along the parade route (Parliament Square to Queen Elizabeth Hall) and at the hall itself.
Safety & Security: Helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for all attendees, parade participants, and volunteers.
Directional Assistance: Providing directions and information to parade viewers and participants.
Shift Times:
We have two stewarding opportunities available to fit your schedule:
Parade Stewards: Assist along the parade route (11:45 am - 1:00 pm).
Queen Elizabeth Hall Stewards: Support activities and crowd management at the hall (12:30 pm - 6:00 pm).
You don't need experience we just want you to be enthusiastic, positive and have fun. Be a friendly and welcoming face, embody the spirit of inclusivity and celebrate Oldham Pride.
