Activity Support Worker

Volunteers are required to work alongside and support the activity worker with a range of activities available to the elderly people in the centre. There are a number of different activities that take place each week. The activities change weekly but they range from keep fit, games activities, baking sessions, arts and crafts workshops to yoga. As well as bingo, sing along sessions, musical madness and dancing. They also run memory lane sessions, where they talk and share stories about their lives. They run a Five Senses workshop, which involves tasting and smelling fruit and spices which stimulate their senses. They also run pamper day sessions which involves doing their nails, make up , hand massage, facials, foot spa.
