Peter Cruddas Foundation

Aims/priorities: The Foundation aims to benefit disadvantaged and disengaged young people in England and Wales, through funding charitable organisation that help them towards pathways into education, training and employment. 

Funding is available for the following priority areas:

  • Pathways/support for young disadvantaged or disengaged people (between the ages of 16 and 30 years) into education, training or employment.
  • Work experience/skills projects for young people aged 16 to 30 years.
  • Youth work in London, particularly evening work for disadvantaged young people aged 16 to 30 years.

Who can apply? Registered charities that are benefiting young people in England and Wales are eligible to apply.

Grant amount: There is no minimum or maximum amount of grant and projects can be funded for more than one year. However, the Foundation will be looking to the applicant to demonstrate that they can manage the amount they have applied for and how they intend to continue (if appropriate) after the funding has been spent.

Application process: Application forms are available to download from the Foundation's website. Completed forms should be returned by email to the Foundation with an A4 covering letter. CDs, DVDs, leaflets, newsletters and accounts should not be included as part of the application.
