North West RSMP - Sub-Regional Community Network Grants

Aims/priorities: This fund aims to directly support BN(O)s in their areas as well as bring together a network of statutory and non-statutory organisations to support BN(O)s where they live to share learning, coordinate support, and support the capacity and capabilities of the VSCE sector in the region. 

Who can apply? The following can apply:

  • Registered, exempt, or excepted charities.
  • Charitable incorporated organisations (CIOs).
  • Community interest companies (CICs).
  • Charitable companies (that are limited by guarantee).
  • Community benefit societies (BenComs).
  • Constituted community groups.
  • Faith groups (where the activity is not promoting religion).

Successful organisations will:

  • Have a proven track record of supporting BN(O) visa holders in their area and be able to demonstrate that they have the trust of the local community.
  • Have a good understanding of support and services available to BN(O) visa holders in their area.
  • Have a good working relationship with other stakeholders in their area, or be able to build them quickly, and be in a position to bring stakeholders together on the issues affecting BN(O) visa holders.

Partnerships with a lead organisation are eligible to apply. 

Grant amount: A total of £200,000 is available.

A grant of £50,000 is available for one organisation in each of the following sub-regions:

  • Greater Manchester.
  • Liverpool City Region.
  • Cheshire.
  • Lancashire and Cumbria.

Completed applications should be submitted by email. 

Online information sessions will be held on the following dates:

  • Friday 31 May 2024 (11:00 – 12:30).
  • Thursday 6 June 2024 (14:00 – 15:30).
  • Tuesday 11 June 2024 (10:00 – 11:30).

Deadline: The deadline for applications is Sunday 23 June 2024 (23:59).

Decisions are expected in mid-July 2024.
