| Arts for Recovery in the Community |
Create and Connect is a new, ambitious, Oldham-wide approach to engage 30 isolated adults with mental health needs in creative activities which foster new social networks based on shared interests. Led by specialist arts and mental health charity Arc, the project will be delivered with a network of partners, helping isolated people to make new connections to - and across - voluntary sector groups and into Oldham town centres growing cultural quarter. The focus will be on two core groups: women experiencing perinatal depression (PND); and isolated adults with mental health needs. |

This funding will help to kickstart the renovation of our pavilion building. Our plan is to create a sports hub that will foster participation by a varied age group in a wide range of sports and community activities in an area that is classed as an area of deprivation, with high unemployment and no community facilities of the scale we are planning. This funding will pay for the majority of the materials required to allow the re-modelling of the building without us relying on employing outside contractors. |

| Funky fitness and fun Cic |
We currently run a group for adults with additional needs . We have identified the high percentage of anxiety , depression ,obsessional behaviours with food and other addictions in our service and other nearby groups. This is due to emotional traumas ,bereavement, isolation and loneliness aswel as not having access for techniques to alleviate these issues. This funding will train our staff and volunteers in mindfulness ,meditation, breathing exercises and motivational techniques to help work through inner blocks . THis will enable them to have knowledge, experience and a certificate to be able to deliver to other small groups . Some of the training will be with a counsellor and life coach that will empower people to manage and deal with everyday stress and help to improve emotional intelligence and resilience to deal with setbacks. The training will enable people to work through barriers to have stronger self belief and higher self-esteem which will impact on stronger physical and mental well-being. |

| Impact Community Project |
Impact Community Project have worked with the homeless in Oldham for several years delivering outreach support and more recently night shelters. Through listening to the individuals accessing our support we have developed an understanding the needs of homeless people in Oldham. We would like to deliver a Life Skills project in partnership with Sanctuary Trust. Sanctuary Trust have a ˜Pass It On" scheme where they have trained volunteers with lived experience of homelessness to mentor people who are currently homeless. Impact Staff Leader and volunteers will work in Partnership with Sanctuary volunteers to deliver the programme and offer it to people who are currently accessing the homeless shelters in Oldham. All volunteers have lived experience and skills to deliver successfully. |

| Inspiring Futures Partnership CIC (Inspire Women Oldham) |
We are a group of women who now know/remember we are creatives, artists, makers and social entrepreneurs. We met at Inspire Women and through conversations in Spring 2019 started to develop our ideas/dreams of ˜Operation Chasing Rainbows". We want to enable workspaces for women to create, make and sell, we want to share our unique gifts and talents and develop online selling skills.
The project will run in the Inspire Centre coordinated by the Chasing Rainbows Project Team. We have worked on the concept and project outline as a co-produced collaborative piece of work, mapping skills and needs as part of the Inspire Pathway journey. |

We would like to deliver a Community talk to me clinic which will be accessible to everyone who requires advice and support in their lives or just have someone there to talk to ,listen to and able to explain things better at their level of understanding and where we could make referrals out to other agencies. This will be an appointment based clinic so we dont have people waiting around too long and we can offer a full assessment and offer effective support and manage appointment times accordingly. |

OPAG would like to run a a weekly programme of six months ( Feb-July) and then a session a week for the 9 weeks of the July to Dec school holidays of physical activities through each of the school holiday periods at Greenacres Community Centre, followed by a Titled 'Family Active', the activity sessions will be aimed at children together with parents/carers and grandparents. Sessions will be aimed at families who do not readily engage in sport or physical recreation. |

The Future Digital Heroes project will provide young people in Oldham with the opportunity to learn new technical skills (such as coding and programming; filmmaking; digital art; and web and app design). The weekly after school sessions will run for 2 hours and young people will work with a qualified teacher (with over ten years of experience) and industry experts to create a product (e.g. short film, website, app, code program) to share with an audience. They will gain experience and understanding of popular tools used by creators (e.g. Makey Makey kits; Sphero bots; iPads, Chromebooks and green screen recording equipment). The projects will be delivered in a school setting and there is a possibility this will extend to other community settings |

| Support and Action for Women's Network -SAWN |
Project SOS Oldham is a project that will work with Black/African women, as well as the local community based in Chadderton Oldham to run an upcycling project for 9 months. The project will explore furniture upcycling creativity opportunities as options for asylum seekers, refugees, new migrants and other people to address barriers of participation like language barriers, immigration status and access services and support through creative activities with furniture and other second hand objects. The project will also collate evidence arising from peoples lives experiences to support their wellbeing, rather than see issues as a barrier to accessing support. SAWN will use the project to raise awareness and support people settling in Oldham on where to access services that are important such as housing, GP services, schools and further education |

The Oldham Food Aid Hub has been operating since April 2015 at the Oldham Unitarian Chapel every Monday from lOam till 2pm. We wish to develop a welfare and debt management advice project within the Hub to streamline our existing services being offered. We have some volunteers who have experience of basic benefits and debt relief work, but we need experienced staff that would be able to provide more in-depth and expert advice and form filling up to appeal stage. |

| Veg in the Park |
Funding will enable volunteers to build a walk-in fruit cage, which will protect valuable soft fruits from predators whilst at the same time allowing easy access for picking. In addition, building small cages over the raised vegetable beds. These need to be lightweight, to allow even the weakest or youngest volunteers to work on any given bed at any time, without injury to themselves or others. They will become invaluable as they will protect veg crops.
This project will need overseeing by a community worker. |

The Chai Ladies group meet at The Hathershaw College every Thursday morning. The project they are seeking funding for is to create a Mosaic that would represent all the communities for the recently developed sensory garden at the college. This would be a project that would require high levels of parental engagement from British, Muslim, Indian and Romanian group members. |
