National Archives - Resilience Grants

Aims/priorities: Funding is intended to increase organisational capacity for archives services and provide long-term solutions that will help resilience in the sector.

Who can apply? Public sector bodies, not-for-profit organisations including registered charities, and for-profit organisations including business archives can apply.

Grant amount: Up to £20,000 are available for projects lasting up to one year.

Application process: Resilience Grants run on a biannual programme, with the application window open twice a year. 

The 2024/25 rounds have been changed due to the General Election. The schedule is now as follows:

  • Round 1 opens on 29 July and closes on 30 August 2024 with the panel meeting scheduled for 1 October 2024.
  • Round 2 opens on 2 December and closes on 10 January 2025 with the panel meeting scheduled for 10 February 2025.

There is a one-stage application process.
