Adrian Ball | Vice Chair
Experience
Adrian has been a board member at VAO and Action Together for around 11 years and is currently Vice Chair of the Action Together Board.
Adrian started work at the Manchester Settlement Charity in February 2015 as Chief Executive.
He has also worked as a senior leader with charities working largely with young people in the fields of complementary education, youth work and youth justice. Adrian spent 20years in a variety of roles at Positive Steps Oldham and 1 year as Chief Executive of Voluntary Action Oldham, 1 year as a Director at Oldham College.
Adrian originally studied for an Economics degree at Manchester Polythenic before training to become a Careers Adviser, he completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Voluntary Sector Management in 2014
Interests and Aspirations
Adrian is committed to the role of voluntary sector organisation in creating sustainable change within communities and equally to the value that highly effective infrastructure support brings to that process.
Adrian is particularly interested in supporting the development of children and young people focused organisations.
