Fundraising Assistant

We are aiming to recruit a Fundraising Assistant to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate will be charismatic, professional, confident speaking to people of all ages and backgrounds, with an ability to manage their own time and workload. This is a busy role with a range of different daily tasks including social media. Whilst fundraising experience and creativity is helpful, organisation is key, and we will offer full training for the right candidate with a transferable skill set. 

Fundraising Assistant

Permanent post – part time up to 28 hours available (hours negotiable)

Working pattern to be agreed, flexibility available for the right candidate. 

£13.30 per hour 

Purpose of the role:

As fundraising assistant, you will liaise with donors and supporters of the charity daily. This includes assisting with ideas and providing fundraising materials, whilst highlighting their fundraising efforts via social media. You will organise awareness stalls, charity collections and small community fundraising events for Fortalice events. You will work alongside the Fundraising Manager on main events and larger scale campaigns. 

Key Skills:

  • Excellent organisational skills are essential so we can support those in the local community who want to fundraise and donate items.
  • An ability to manage own time and workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
