The role
This role will support our strategic ambition to grow and transform as a local funder.
Springhill Hospice is a registered charity providing specialist palliative and end of life care to adults in Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale both on the inpatient unit and in the community. The Hospice, rated Outstanding by CQC, is seeking an inspirational leader to join the Executive Management Team.
This is an opportunity to join an exceptional and dedicated team and build on the excellent legacy left by our retiring Medical Director.
Rochdale & District Mind currently provides a Delayed Transfer of Care (DTOC) service where they support patients with Mental Health issues who are awaiting discharge from John Elliot Mental Health unit, they also take referrals for patients where there is not already a statutory service provision under Section 117 aftercare – therefore we have been supporting Section 2 discharges and informal discharges.
About this role: This is an opportunity to work as part of a charity committed to our Vision of enabling everyone in our communities to achieve better mental health. This role sits within our Adult Therapeutic Services directorate.
As part of this role you will be responsible our Listening Space and Safe Haven teams.
