If you are Bi-Lingual and enjoy reading to children and doing some crafting with them then this is the opportunity for you.
We hope by offering stories in English and other languages, children and their carers will be exposed to the diversity and different cultures in the local area.
Key information
- Start Date: 10th October 2024
- End Date: 31st March 2025
- Volunteer: Weekly
- Availability: Thursday PM, Saturday AM
- Tasks: You and another volunteer will be expected to prepare a story (books available from the library) and a craft exercise to go along with the story, the session is for children aged 5 years and under.
- Training: You can come along and shadow an existing session as many times as you like until you feel confident in leading the session yourself.
