Royton / Shaw and Crompton Right Start Children’s Centre, Peer Support Volunteer Champion

We are looking for volunteers, who would like to provide practical support to our project and will be able to commit for at least 12 months for a minimum 3-5 hours a week .

Tasks the volunteer will be required to do:

• Building positive relationships with families within the home environment to support the building of confidences
• Actively encouraging parents / carers to engage in to the community and Right Start Services
• Support Right Start staff on home visits to promote Right Start services

Requirements: Relevant qualification or training
Skill and Qualifications Required:

• Good communication skills
• Good listening skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Non judgemental
• Actively promote Equality and Diversity
