Thank you to our Trustees, Anne and Adrian

As Trustees’ Week draws to a close, we’d like to say a big thank you to two of our own long-serving Trustees who are coming to the end of their terms next week.

Adrian Ball

Until recently, Adrian Ball has been our Vice Chair and originally joined the Board of our predecessor organisation, Voluntary Action Oldham, before we became Action Together. Adrian has been involved with our work for 12 years, with an even longer history as a senior leader in charities, particularly those working to support young people.

Anne Parkes

Anne Parkes is our Treasurer and first got involved in the T3SC Board in 2011, playing an active role in the merger that saw the formation of Action Together. Anne has extensive experience as a sector leader across Greater Manchester and the North West, as well as volunteering herself to support local organisations.

Action Together’s Chair, Camilla Guereca, said,

“Thank you to Adrian and Anne for all they have given to Action Together and to the wider voluntary and community sector in Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside. You have guided us through great change and growth and your skills and experience were invaluable. I’ll miss your presence on the Board and at our meetings, but you’ll always be welcomed by your friends here at Action Together.”

Thank you to all our Trustees for the time and energy they give to Action Together, and we look forward to welcoming five new Board members at our Annual General Meeting next week!
