Rochdale Refugee and Asylum Seeker Multi-Agency Forum

A space bringing together organisations and services who support asylum seekers and refugees across Rochdale

In Rochdale we have a wealth of amazing groups who offer support to refugees and people seeking asylum, this Forum brings together organisations and services who support asylum seekers and refugees across Rochdale.

It is a space for these groups to begin a conversation about how we can do more together and support each other, along with the opportunity to listen and learn from each other.

Our discussions include:

  • The need for insight and information sharing and how we could do this, including a way to escalate issues
  • The potential to fund oversubscribed services to increase support available
  • The opportunity for training and peer to peer support around cultural literacy
  • The gap in provision around language and translation
  • The need for trauma informed practice training and support across all services and community offers
