Ripples of Hope Festival

We’re delighted to invite you to a special event on Monday 7 October 2019. We at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights UK are working to create the first ever Ripples of Hope Festival in Greater Manchester, to take place in February 2021. The Festival is going to explore and celebrate how we can all take actions to build societies for all people - to make human rights a reality in our community and across the world.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights UK is developing the Festival content with the people of Greater Manchester, through a series of Gatherings: discussions, led by Jude Kelly, the Artistic Director of the Festival, in which people of every walk of life share their thoughts, experiences and ideas to make sure the Festival truly speaks to their lives, challenges and hopes. A fuller overview of the Festival and about the Gatherings is attached.

We would love you to come along and help us build the Festival with your thoughts and perspectives.

The Gathering will take place at Number 1 Riverside, Rochdale, OL16 1XU.

• Monday 7th October: 1900-2130

We have around 40 places available, so it is first come, first serve!

Please RSVP to Grace at hello@rfkhumanrights.uk as soon as you can.

For the Ripples of Hope Gatherings we want to extend the invitation to as many people as possible, recognising different life experiences, and reach out to a multitude of organisations to engage their networks also. There is no specific criteria to attend, so please help us to spread the invitation far and wide by inviting people you know who you think would like to be involved and ask them to RSVP if they are going to join us!
