Manchester Arena Memorial Grant Programme

The Inter Faith Youth Trust is launching a new grant programme for young people’s organisations to hold inter faith events or activities in the Greater Manchester area. May 2019 will mark two years since the bombing at the Manchester Arena. The focus of the project is to highlight the good that can come from different communities working together in friendship.

Who can apply: VCSE organisations working in Greater Manchester.

Grant amount: Between £200 to £1,000.

Bardsley Construction is offering funding to groups across the Greater Manchester area. The fund supports groups that address older people, children and young people, stronger communities and health and wellbeing, whose income is no more than £30,000.

Brother UK Fund - deadline 6 February

The Brother UK Fund’s current priority is to encourage and support grassroots community activity across Tamside. This means small, community-based and locally controlled groups that manage themselves, encourage active participation from volunteers and have minimal cash reserves and limited access to funding support.


Annual income of groups applying should be less than £150,000.

Awards of up to £2,000 are available.

Healthy Heart grants

Funding of up to £10,000 is available for communities across the UK for projects that promote heart health.

Funding is awarded for  new and innovative projects that reduce the risk of heart disease in your community.

Projects should demonstrate health initiatives such as cooking skills, healthy eating, positive wellbeing and a more active lifestyle, all with a focus on a healthy heart.

Grants are only available to not-for-profit organisations, including:

- Charities

- Community groups

- Voluntary organisations

- Sports groups

Grant funding of up to £9 million will be available to ensure EU citizens needing additional support get help in obtaining their settled status. 

The Home Office has announce notice of its Grant Scheme, expected to award between £5 and 9million to fund VCS organisations in delivering practical assistance to vulnerable or at-risk EU citizens and their family members, and to provide them with end-to-end support to apply.
