Jigsaw Foundation is an exciting new £500,000 fund to support local projects run by charities, resident and community groups, voluntary organisations, social enterprises and partner agencies.

It replaces our former GREAT Neighbourhoods fund and Breathe Investment Grants. 

Applications will open in April this year with funding up to £25,000 voted on by tenants through our Jigsaw Rewards surveys. Entries over this amount will be approved by Jigsaw Homes Group’s Executive team.

BBC Children in Need Main Grants programme

Grants of over £10,000 per project are available through the BBC Children in Need Main Grants programme to not for profit organisations and schools that work with young people who are experiencing disadvantage through illness, distress, abuse or neglect; any kind of disability; behavioural or psychological difficulties; and / or living in poverty or situations of deprivation.

Applications should demonstrate how your project will change the lives of children for the better.

Food Power financial support

Tesco Bags of Help Centenary Fund

This year marks 100 Years of Great Value at Tesco. To celebrate our Centenary year, we’re pleased to announce two different projects that will benefit local community groups across the UK.

This year, we’re holding two special voting rounds of our Bags of Help community project funding scheme across England, Scotland and Wales, called Bags of Help Centenary Grants.

Rotary Chadderton and Failsworth Grant

Groups across Oldham can apply for upto £1,000 from Chadderton & Failsworth’s Community Cash Award.

Since 2014, over 200 small voluntary groups across the borough of Oldham have applied for and received financial support from the Community Cash Award. Projects include a beehive at Sholver & Moorside, card making activities at Coalshaw Green Park, days out for Oldham Support Group for Carers in Autism and Spotlight Drama Group’s overhead projector.

Healthy Heart grants

Funding of up to £10,000 is available for communities across the UK for projects that promote heart health.

Funding is awarded for  new and innovative projects that reduce the risk of heart disease in your community.

Projects should demonstrate health initiatives such as cooking skills, healthy eating, positive wellbeing and a more active lifestyle, all with a focus on a healthy heart.

Grants are only available to not-for-profit organisations, including:

- Charities

- Community groups

- Voluntary organisations

- Sports groups
