OPEN - Growing Oldham: Feeding Ambition – Medium Investment

The Growing Oldham: Feeding Ambition Partnership wants to invest up in inspiring ideas that will transform Oldham’s food economy. Successful projects and ideas will focus on enterprise opportunities through food and growing, which generate an income for communities in Oldham.

We are looking to support community-led social enterprise, groups and organisations. Funding will be awarded to projects and ideas that help to create a thriving, sustainable and local food economy.

The Hilden Charitable Fund - Summer Play Schemes Guidelines 2019

The Fund has allocated a small budget to help community groups run summer play schemes for disadvantaged communities.  Some priority will be given to projects which show they are inclusive of children from refugee families, and show BME involvement.

The Skelton Charity provides approx. £100,000 in grants each year to registered charities in Lancashire, Greater Manchester, and Merseyside 

Modest grants, usually for between £500 and £3,000 (in exceptional cases grants of up to £5,000) may be awarded:

  • normally only to registered charities
  • operating within the eligible geographical boundaries
  • for one-off costs
  • for projects or capital costs (this could include sessional costs and volunteer costs).
  • focussed on good causes

Grants are not made to individuals.

Spring Application Round Opens For Transform Foundation Small Charities Funded Website Programme

The Spring round of the The Transform Foundation's 2019 Small Charities Funded Website Programme is now open. This programme is designed to provide funding for small charities with incomes below £350k to allow them to redevelop their websites to have the same kind of best practice functionality and designs as larger charities.

Magic Little Grants 2019 is now live!

This fund gives local charities and community groups the chance to apply online for a £500 grant to deliver projects across Great Britain that encourage people to be physically active. Successful projects will support and inspire people to participate in sports or exercise with the primary aim of improving the physical health of participants.

With its simple 10-minute application process, the Magic Little Grants fund reduces the work required for local organisations to access the funding they need to launch or strengthen their services.

Jigsaw Foundation is an exciting new £500,000 fund to support local projects run by charities, resident and community groups, voluntary organisations, social enterprises and partner agencies.

It replaces our former GREAT Neighbourhoods fund and Breathe Investment Grants. 

Applications will open in April this year with funding up to £25,000 voted on by tenants through our Jigsaw Rewards surveys. Entries over this amount will be approved by Jigsaw Homes Group’s Executive team.
