Aims/priorities: The One Oldham Fund is a strategic single investment fund that uses pooled resources for the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector in Oldham.
The funding for this grant is provided by Oldham Council to invest in the capacity of the VCFSE Sector to improve the lives of children, young people and their families in Oldham.
Applications should be for projects that aim to improve up to two of the following outcomes for children (including pre-birth), young people aged under 25 and their families.:
- Mental and physical health
- Secure housing
- Financial stability
- Promoting recovery and reducing harm from substance use
- Family relationships
- Children safe from abuse and exploitation
- Crime prevention and tackling crime
- Safe from domestic abuse
- Getting a good education
- Good early years development
Who can apply? You can apply for a grant for up to £1,000.00 if you:
- are a voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) group locally rooted and active in the borough of Oldham, and
- are a member of Action Together (you can register for free to become a member here), and
- are formally constituted
Projects must be completed by no later than the 31 March 2025.
Grant amount: Up to £1,000.00
- Informal groups involved in social action or mutual aid activity in Oldham can apply for up to £200
- Formally constituted members of Action Together locally rooted or active in Oldham can apply for up to £1000
